Welcome to The Bowler Pub and Kitchen
A stones throw from Farringdon Station and adjacent to Exmouth Market we are in the heart of Clerkenwell, offering a blissful venue tucked away for a leisurely lunch or eventful dinner.
The venue is open planned allowing great area's for groups or intimate dinners in front of the fire place. All area's are also available for private hire.
At The Bowler Pub and Kitchen we have spent many years researching pubs, restaurants and any establishment that serves alcohol and food under one roof, it wasn’t a horrible job mind you, but we were still working! We wanted to find out what people wanted on their food menu’s when dining out, what dishes were time-honoured favourites, like Beer Battered Fish and Chips with mushy pea’s and which dishes delighted peoples senses like Roast Pork Belly with honey crackling, horseradish mash and apple sauce. Most of all we wanted to create a menu which everyone could enjoy, a menu which had all your favourite things on and a place where you could come in feel at home but not have to wash up the dishes.
After travelling the world and working at some of London’s top restaurants and bars. We truly do believe that we have achieved a perfect balance of great food, in a relaxed atmosphere with an extensive drinks list.
However when you do pop in to join us if you have any suggestions or would like to see a new dish on the menu please let us know, we are always up for trying new things especially when it involves food.

"I recently held a surprise 50th bithday party for my boyfriend at the Bowler & we couldn't have been happier.
Nothing was too much trouble for Lee, the Manager of the pub. He was generous with his time during the planning stages & very flexible with regards any requirements & expectations. Lee's attention to detail is commendable. Nothing was left to chance.

The space at the Bowler cleverly lends itselt to a spacious eating area in one room & then the inviting bar & lounge area in the second room.
This is the second landmark family event we've held at the Bowler, it's brilliant for parking & well located between Angel & Farringdon tube for easy access.
I would highly reccomend this venue & Lee's event team for any business or social events."
