Friendly staff...efficient & organised...cosy yet spacious...great atmosphere for parties

"A welcoming place for a large group with a deceptively large
space to host a whole weekend for 60+ students, with a variety of dietary
requirements. We hired the venue for staff training weekend and throughout the
staff were super friendly, organised and efficient, serving food and
working behind the bar; it could not have gone better. The Bowler staff served
up two days worth of meals and snacks, including lunch, afternoon tea and cake,
3 course evening meal, a cooked breakfast then sent us home with a packed
lunch, as some of our staff had travelled long distances. We hosted a
60s-themed dinner in the evening and the Bowler provided us with a great, fun
variety of music on a professional sound system. The eating/ drinking
areas are distinct but open plan, with comfy sofas to chill out on, drink in
hand, in the bar area. Cosy yet spacious, with a great atmosphere, I would
definitely recommend for parties or work events, or for a relaxing after-work
drink or two."

I recently held a
surprise 50th bithday party for my boyfriend at the Bowler & we couldn't
have been happier.
Nothing was too much trouble for Lee, the Manager of the pub. He was generous with his time during the planning stages & very flexible with regards any requirements & expectations. Lee's attention to detail is commendable. Nothing was left to chance.
On the day the food was delicious & the service was seamless. Lee's team were very friendly & keen to make sure that everyone had everyone had plenty to drink & eat.
The space at the Bowler cleverly lends itselt to a spacious eating area in one room & then the inviting bar & lounge area in the second room.
This is the second landmark family event we've held at the Bowler, it's brilliant for parking & well located between Angel & Farringdon tube for easy access.
I would highly reccomend this venue & Lee's event team for any business or social events.

Last month we had our civil partnership party at The Bowler, it was the most incredible day and this could not have happened without the help of the Lee (the manager) and his team.
Lee accomodated all our requests, nothing was to much trouble.
The team of staff were friendly and attentive, and the whole day ran like clockwork.
All our guests commented what a fantastic venue The Bowler was.
The food was to a high standard and the service was superb.
The location of this pub is great for Kings Cross, Farringdon and Angel stations, and has ample parking.
I would highly reccomend this venue for any event.
